Gestrandet im Paradies (German)
Mehr als sechs Jahre trieb ich als Abenteurer und Journalist durch Asien, lebte von Tag zu Tag und tauchte in Welten ein, die mir bis dahin unvorstellbar schienen. Mal zu Fuss, mal per Motorrad – oder gar auf einem kleinwüchsigen Pferd – jede Reise war ein unvorhersehbares Kapitel. Begleitet wird mein Reisebericht von spektakulären Fotografien, die nicht nur die atemberaubenden Landschaften, sondern vor allem die Menschen und Kulturen in den Mittelpunkt rücken, denen ich begegnen durfte.
Neue Wege nach der Verlagsübernahme
Mit der Übernahme von Conbook Verlag durch das Verlagshaus GeraNova Bruckmann zum 1. Januar 2024 endete auch die Vertriebskooperation mit der MairDumont-Verlagsgruppe. Obwohl Verleger, Matthias Walter, das Programm für Reiseliteratur, Kultursachbücher und Bildbände ausbauen möchte, wurden vielen Autoren – darunter auch mir – nach rund 5.000 verkauften Hardcover-Exemplaren die Vertriebsrechte zurückgegeben.
